Not for a moment.

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

We all have our circumstances and trials to bear in this life. Perhaps struggles with family, financial hardships, physical, spiritual, mental trials. Even in the hardest of moments, there is One God with One promise that He is faithful to pursue: His presence will never leave us. Not for a moment. A song written about Our hope, has ministered to me so much so that it has become my anthem to the Lord. Perhaps yours too?

There is a heartfelt declaration: Above all –  HE is constant. HE is only good. HE is Sovereign. I pray that you are reminded of His abiding presence that would stir you up to abide in Him and bear His fruit today (John 15).

Here are the lyrics of this song. Remember the faithfulness of Our God, our King. He alone is worthy of our praise.

You were reaching through the storm
walking on the water
even when I could not see
in the middle of it all
when I thought You were a thousand miles away
not for a moment did You forsake me
not for a moment did You forsake me

CHORUS
after all You are constant
after all You are only good
after all You are sovereign
not for a moment will You forsake me
not for a moment will You forsake me

You were singing in the dark
whispering Your promise
even when I could not hear
I was held in Your arms
carried for a thousand miles to show
Not for a moment did You forsake me

Every step, every breath, you are there
every tear, every cry, every prayer
in my hurt, in my worst
when my world falls down
not for a moment will You forsake me
