“Go make disciples of all nations…” Matthew 28:19

Fall semester is here! Where some missionaries are called to board a plane and head to a foreign country, in Gainesville over 6,000 international students, professors. staff fly from all over the globe to attend UF!

All nations come to us.

Unlike game-day parking, God has made this quite easy for us ladies! Our mission field maybe at Target or Publix, or the bus stop, on campus grabbing lunch at the hub. Wherever we go, we the church – the redeemed – leave the fragrance of Christ to the lost and dying world. May we have a heightened awareness of the hurting, the needy, the hungry, the desperate around us, that mask themselves so brilliantly in shinny, sparkly, worldly fashions and lingo.

Now thanks [be] to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 1 Corinthians 2:14 &15

The perishing may be able to disguise their desperation by appearing to ‘having it all together’, or covering up with makeup, clothes, jewelry, cars, relationships, titles, etc… Oh that may we be an empty vessel filled with the love, passion, and heart of Christ that He may diffuse through us in every place.

Lord, would you give us your eyes to see past the surface and into the hearts of the deceived & the desperate. God make ME needy for you that I would desire to be an empty vessel ready for a fresh filling.
